Rakia, is a proficient and highly resourceful Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Certified Secretary (ICSPK), and policy advocate specializing in dispute resolution, legislative and policy drafting, commercial transactions, corporate governance, legal compliance, and financial regulation (banking and securities law). Prior to joining A & R Advocates, Rakia worked at the Parliament of Kenya, FairBrain Consulting Limited and at law firms. Rakia has drafted multiple bills and policies, drafted and facilitated merger agreements and negotiations, advised on legal compliance on anti-money laundering regulations, and negotiated and drafted insurance premium financing agreements. With her expertise, she navigates complex legal matters, ensuring smooth transactions and providing strategic counsel to individuals, businesses and organizations.
